The XOOPS Development Team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.5.7 Final. This release was focused on making XOOPS 2.5.7 fully compatible with PHP 5.5.x, on security enhancements, bug fixing, and on updating external libraries to their latest versions. The XOOPS UI/UX team has also included a new cool theme framework based on Bootstrap. This is probably the most stable and bug-free version of XOOPS CMS ever. Now that the 2.5.x series nears its end, the development team is already finalizing Alpha 3 of its next generation XOOPS architecture – which will include Composer, Doctrine, Assetic, new Service Manager, and taking advantage of Symfony components.
