Don’t let the page count deter you, this book is packed with information and good examples that will help you get started with CreateJS quickly. The book is targeted toward those with experience some experience in JavaScript development, but I was able to keep up with the pace of the book with little trouble and I am relatively new to JavaScript. Each chapter has examples that demonstrate concepts in CreateJS that will be utilized to build a Painting application. The examples are concise and easy to follow. The author utilizes just enough repetition to help build an understanding to the concepts without boring the reader. At just over a hundred pages, the book is by no means a reference but the author does provide links to documentation to further reader’s understanding. The book primarily focuses on the EaselJS and TweenJS components of CreateJS but does a very good job on delivering on it it’s title: ‘Getting Started with CreateJS’
